The mission of the Buenos Aires IT Hubs is to prioritise IT integration to reach the excellence in technology and technological innovations. Between its main objectives it is important to mention:

• Promote, provide and encourage growth and the capacity of the IT companies of the region.
• Promote partnership affiliation as a way of working between companies.
• Generate a region attractive to the investment on the part of technology based foreign companies.

One of the most recent achievements of Buenos Aires IT Hubs was the agreement reached for the creation of an IT Hub in the south part of the city. The agreement signed by the Ministry of Economy and Production, Telefónica Gestión de Servicios Compartidos S.A. and Buenos Aires IT Hubs. “The execution of the IT hub in Barracas will allow gathering all members of the sector (companies, universities and public organizations) at the same physical place.  I am sure that this is a very important step for the acknowledgement of the IT industry in the city.” commented Ernesto Galíndez, chairman of the organization.
